The Opelika Chamber's fiscal year runs from June to May. The Annual Meeting is the Chamber's largest event of the year and is held
in June. This lunch time event is a time of reflection of the past year and to celebrate many of our members with annual awards!
Business After Hours
This popular chamber event is ideal for relaxing, meeting and mingling after work! Different members host this event each
quarter and there is always plenty of food and door prizes!
Business Over Breakfast
This quarterly event promotes community businesses gathering together to have breakfast and hear a speaker about current events, economics, leadership, etc. The chamber obtains the speaker and sets up the event at various locations. The Small Business of the Quarter is awarded at the breakfast.
This program is coordinated as needed for local elections. Constituents are invited to experience a question and answer session.
The Chamber launches the holiday season with the annual parade. The parade is always the 1st Saturday in December at 10 a.m. and the route weaves through downtown Opelika.
New Members Breakfast /Connections Leads Group
This quarterly meeting is a great way to meet other business people. Don’t forget to bring your business card and join us at 8 am.

First Responders Breakfast
This event is held every September to recognize and honor all of our First Responders in the area including Firefighters, Police / Law
Enforcement, Emergency & Medical personnel are treated to a breakfast in their honor.
Looking to get out of the office, enjoy the spring weather and network with local business people? The Annual Golf Tournament
host morning and afternoon flights. Over 30 member teams each year compete for the coveted title! Don’t miss the fun!
This event is a joint effort with the Auburn Chamber of Commerce and is usually held in March or April. Local, state and even national
representatives of the area are invited to attend and give an update.
Manufacturing Day is a celebration of modern manufacturing meant to inspire the next generation of manufacturers. There is usually a
luncheon and several industry tours.
Member Christmas Reception
Come celebrate with the Chamber Board of Directors and staff at our annual Christmas Reception. Usually held the 2nd week in December,
this event has delicious food and entertainment and is held in various locations.

These seminars are an ideal way to grow your business. Various seminars are offered throughout the year. Previous topics include:

State of the City Address
This lunch time event happens usually in January or first of February. The Opelika mayor gives a comprehensive update on the state
of the City of Opelika.
Ribbon Cuttings are usually done when a business joins the Chamber or have just opened for business. A group of chamber ambassadors,
city officials and friends meet at the business for a picture of the owners cutting a ribbon. Afterwards, the attendees usually tour the facility.
Women's Business Council
Women's Business Council is a group that will promote the participation and leadership of women at all levels in the workplace,
the community and in government. The scope of the WBC is to develop programs that provide opportunities for women to learn
and network as well as share their expertise with each other and to address the unique issues of women in business.
