Ambassador Committee
Assists in the recruitment and retention of members to serve Chamber members through enhancing member-networking opportunities and to promote activities and events that feature member firms.

Business Resource Committee
Assist members in education and professional development, to publicize the chamber as a business resource center, and to provide networking opportunities and recognition to members.

Education Committee
Provides a link between the public and private educational and vocational institutions, to identify areas in which the business community through / with the Chamber can assist schools in producing and providing better opportunities for area students.

Public Relations Committee
Reviews the effectiveness, promotion and proper distribution of Chamber publications and other media and member communications.

Governmental Affairs Committee
Be a conduit to local, state and national government officials, function as a research and review committee on issues affecting the business and/or industry in our community, and recommend propposals, positions and solutions to the Board for review and action.

Economic Development Committee
Assist the City of Opelika in Retail Development and to insure the contract with the City of Opelika is implemented properly.

Finance Committee
Assist in preparation of the annual Chamber operating budget, provides advice on capital improvements, assists in Chamber Executive Annual Review, provides advice on City of Opelika Contract, to assist in raising funds for the Opelika Chamber of Commerce.

Nominating Committee
Selects and presents qualified candidates for the Opelika Chamber Board of Directors

Recognition Commitee
Reviews and selects awards throughout the year based on submissions by the Membership.
